We left Chicago just before 10am, a late start to avoid the Chicago rush hour. We lost an hour somewhere in Indiana, and quit driving near at Hubbard, Ohio, just past Youngstown at 6pm, after about 7 hours on the road.
While we saw a lot of brownish nothing out west, here we are seeing very green nothing -- lots and lots of corn and soybean fields along Interstate 80 and 90. I personally find the green scenery more relaxing, but there really wasn't much of anything to get off the highway for or to even take pictures of. Jim tried a few photos from the car of the corn and soybeans, but they were all blurry.
Tomorrow, we only have about 5.5 hours of driving to get to Dan and Diane's house in New Jersey, and I am hoping we find something fun to do on the way.
