Last Day in Cape Town: 3/1

This day was pretty much of a bust for me in every way. We had a full day to explore and Sandy and others went on a hop-on-hop-off bus tour and a winery visit. I had to focus on getting the medications I needed, but unfortunately, ran into a brick wall with an uncooperative phone, closed pharmacies and ones that had to order what I needed. Since we are leaving tomorrow morning, I couldn't wait for a next day delivery.

The highlight of the day was the group farewell dinner at a place called the Butcher Shop. I had BBQ chicken wings, which were yummy, but presented as the whole wing, not drummies and wing pieces. Impossible to cut, so very messy to eat. Good thing  I had 2 wet wipes to clean up with. The main course was Roast Lamb Chops, which were also very good. Also had a baked yukon gold potato.

Back at the hotel, it was time to finish packing for our flight to Namibia tomorrow.
