10/4 -- Recover, Prep for Drive Home

We woke up horribly early (before 6am), as usual with a big time zone change. Today was all about laundry, rearranging packing for the drive home, and trying to define just exactly where we will go. We have hotel reservations in Taos and at the Grand Canyon, and everything else is up for grabs. The big question is what route we will take to Taos -- drive fast and get there a day early to spend more time in the area and maybe go to Santa Fe or take our time and find a national park or two on the way.
