Another quiet day, with the kids in school, laundry to do, and tree trimmers to supervise. We broke it up by going out to lunch. Things got more interesting when Dahlia came home from school on the bus instead of staying for the after school program. When Dan and Davin came home, we ordered out pizza and after dinner, took a walk around the lake with the dog and the rest of the family.
The big excitement was helping set up a canopy for a musical event tomorrow at the lakeside club that most of the neighbors belong to. The weather here has been delightful, but tomorrow it is supposed to rain, and go back to glorious on Sunday. When we got there, the canopy looked more like an enormous erector set and when it came time to move it into position, it was clear that more than the original four guys were needed so we helped out. The canopy attachment system is quite simple and ingenious.
Back home, it was time for the kids to go to bed and for the adults to relax.
